Rand Rudland has published the “Odonates of the Sunshine Coast”, a photographic and detailed description field guide of a similar style to the “Butterflies of the Sunshine Coast”.

Odonates include both dragonflies and damselflies and are collectively referred to as “odes” by enthusiasts of the order.
He will explore the lifecycles and share identification tips on the more common of the 44 known species of dragonflies and damselflies inhabiting the waterways, marshes, lakes and forest openings of the Sunshine Coast.
