Fishermans Road Markets has been operated and managed for the past 15 years by the Lions Club of Mooloolaba. All Lions Club members are Volunteers who willingly offer their free time for no monetary return, therefore net profits raised from the Markets are channeled back into either the Lions Club Projects or Local Community Organisations.

This differs to privately operated markets where wages are paid and profits are retained by the operator.

By shopping at the Fishermans Road Markets (also known as the Maroochy Sunday Markets) you are helping with the ongoing viability of the stallholders therefore ultimately you are also supporting the many Community Projects. Without the Stall Holders, there would be no markets.
