is one of the catalyst projects instrumental in the significant turnaround in the MRA Precinct over the last four years. This event and our Captain and Duke Pop Up Alleyway Bar have enabled the Marooychore Revitalisation Association to self-fund initiatives including Ocean St World Festival, commission artwork, strategy development and importantly forge greater private and public sector partnerships.

This local model of revitalisation has now spread across the Sunshine Coast, creating new opportunities for performers, artists and foodies. The MRA applauds this and supports these new ventures as fiercely as we nurture our valued market regulars as they build their businesses and relationships with locals and visitors. We are also seeking to strengthen our partnerships with new artists and performers popping up on the Coast, school orchestras and bands, and cutting edge and experimental University concepts to continually add to the layers of urban experience that can be discovered.
